MSSH No.1 Toastmasters Club #129th Meeting Summary

MSSH No.1 Toastmasters Club #129th Meeting Summary

Theme: Contest

Why we chose this word as our topic tonight? let's ask our Toast Master Charles, who already gave us a good description and explanation:

This week, i choose "Contest" as the theme, since we are given to birth, we have been facing all kinds of contents, sometimes we are afraid of contest, but in other time we are eager for a contest, why does this happen? why do we need a contest? how can we overcome the fear of a contest? and how can your go through a contest and get a satisfied performance? let's just talk about this tonight, feel free to express your own ideas and experience, see you then friends.

Tonight in our familiar conference room, we held a warm and successful toast master meeting, some guests were attracted and volunteered to join our meeting, others are invited by our EVVP Michael, it seems that the majority in our club are guys, so the female guests are helpful to make our club’s atmosphere more warm and active.

As usual, after our dear president Steven Xu announced the taboo of the meeting and SAA Sarah greeted the guests, we are moving to the functional session-Evaluation team introduction, in this part, we have three evaluators, Tian-Qian Chen, Julian Wu and Elvis Wei. TianQian took an Ar-Counter after he joined our clur for the first time, Julian Wu, who is a senior and experienced evaluator in my memory, also a good grammarian, he always can listen careful during others' speeches and then pointed out the good usages and bad usages in your speech, i'd like to say every time i join this club when Julian was grammarian, i can learn a lot from his summary. Elvis, who is also a funny guy in daily life, and since we are living in the same area near Shanghai Jiaotong university, sometime after the meeting we can have chances to talk about interesting happened in our life or the knowledge gained in this club. ok, next, we have a warm-up match named Ice Breaking Game held by Tarry Wang.

Ice Breaking Game:

If i remember correctly, this is the second time for Tarry since i joined Toast Master, Tarry seems like very interested and good at conducting a game, and in fact, he proved this point by his real action.

This time, Tarry brought us a game, we just call it "cartoon guess", the game rule is like this: every participator got a piece of paper, on which there is a short cartoon actor and his/her name, in the process, you need to describe the actor by your own words without directly saying the name of the actor, others may guess the name. and then you shared a short experience with the actor. and i got a paper named "Blue eidolon ", actually, i had no idea about the eidolon, so i just describe this actor as a poor girl and she is just "flying, flying...." in the sky, always wear in blue..... oh, sounds not a good description, but there is still someone can guess it, how wonderful our Toast Member are.

Thanks Tarry for giving us such a good presentation and gave Tarry a warm applause.

Table Topic session:

(since i did not record the name of the speakers, so there may be some mismatch)

Sharp set a good example for us how to conduct a successful Table Topic session in Toast Master, as a experienced speaker and evaluator, being a master for Table Topic session seems a piece of cake for Sharp, even so,Sharp even made a good preparation for this session from my observation, including good session questions, the smooth transition among questions and flexible summary after each speakers, well done, Sharp. Since the theme is Contest, so Sharp prepared about six questions for us, i believe he may had more, but as time was limited in this session, other questions were just aborted, how pity losing these questions!

Q1: As long as there is a contest, there will be two result, sometimes you may lost in a contest, so my questions are there volunteers can share with us your experience after you lost a contest?

Sarah: yes, I definitely have some experiences regarding this question, and the main point i learn from the losing is to be good prepared whenever your take part in a contest. Sarah shared us a real story happened on herself. Once she attended a humorous speech, but as she did not make good preparation and research before the contest, so she just picked up a topic related to marriage, which seems like a little serious for the humorous speech. As a result, Sarah did not get the expected effect in the contest, so being well prepared before you are going to do anything important, not just a contest.

Q2: Suppose you have super power, i.e., you are a super man, so which kind of contest would you want to take?

Maybe this is a female speakers, it’s also probably her speech was so attractive, as a result, I forget to record the key point of her speech and just enjoyed the speech, oh, how shame I was!

Q3: In a contest, if you have the chance to choose to be a winner or a loser, which result would you like to be?

Jim: First, i'd like to say that every one joining the contest is willing to win the contest, no one wants to be a loser at the first stage when attending the contest, right? it's human beings' nature. but for me, i think it's ok being a winner or a loser, the most important in the contest is that we can learn many thing we did not have before. first one is that we can knew new friends, because the audience you are facing are all kinds of people, thus you are involving with all kinds of people from various fields. second, through the contest, we can have a better understanding about our drawbacks, and then spare more time to overtime it, third, as i mentioned above, we can learn more knowledge's from your competitors, and finally, gaining more experience on making speech and conquer feer when speaking in public, this is the benefits that you can obtain from a contest. hence, i'd like to say no matter you are a winner or a loser, you are a winner definitely.

Q4: could you kindly share us the contest when you take a contest?

Charles: Charles shared with us the Madarin Table Topic speech he took last time, and last he won the second prize in the contest, (last time, i am also the contestant in that session, due to lacking of experience, naturally did not make a expected performance, but it's a good lesson for me). As a officer in Toast Master, Charles must rise responsibility for the normal and daily affairs, he often encourage his friends and colleagues to bravely join regular Toast Master meeting. All in all, full preparation before the contest and then with passion inside to attend the contest should be the key point(As Sarah mentioned above, being well prepared in a contest is significantly important, even you are a experienced speaker.)

Q5: Most of us have experienced the journey from junior high middle to senior high middle, then university, etc. when we were a student, we were facing lots of contest outside. and nowadays, do you think the students in school are facing lots of contest?

Hellie: Actually, Hellie did not performed well when he was in middle school, however, he was outstanding when he was a primary school students. And nowadays, the students must to do various training such as art, drawing, piant, and etc. Children must to do it under the serious control of their parents, thus they did not have much chances to Hdo some social activities. and this way, the parents may distract the happiness from children, it's not a good approach actually i think.

Q6: In a contest, do you like a strong competitor or a weak competitor?

Ping: It seems that Ping have attend various Toast Ma many times, she was quite confident and conversational on the stage. she said that if you have practiced a lot for the contest, you are definitely eager to win in the contest, no matter your competitor is strong or weak, and if you are experienced in the contest you are attending, you can then try your best to take the "Grand prize" home.

Short summary of this session (Sharp Xu):

It seems that time is our enemy, how time flies when we have fun, I really like to stay with your for a longer time. now it's time to turn my control back to our TME Charles.

After a short break, the next session is the "Prepared speech", in which we have three speakers, all of them have well prepared their speeches and definitely the delivery were remarkable.

C1-Break the ice (Alex)_Self-Introduction

For the C1 speech, the main purpose is to deliver a self-introduction and let other know your better, in our club, why can we create a warm and friendly atmosphere? one important reason is that we are friends and we know each other well, as a result, we will not feel shy and embarrassed when taking with each other.

The following is the main content through my observation:

Content: Hi, everyone, my Englsh name is Alex and my Chinese name is ChunSong Feng, I am from JiuJiang city in JiangXi province, I have one brother and two sisters, i am the youngest child in my family, as a result, my parent spoiled me a lot, as a result, I did not need to do many things in my children hood, because they done all the affairs for me, my family took care about me very carefully and i have a nice and memorable childhood. Next, i will share with you some interesting things happen in my middle school time, actually, I did not have much interests(Such funny guy), when i was in my high school, I often play basketball in most of my spare time, but when I come to university, i fall in love with computer, when i play computer game and surfed internet for the first time, i felt really wonderful and nice. you know, i often chatted with freinds (boys and girls) on internet, as time went by, when i was a sophomore, I then pay more attention to my major computer programming.

So, these are some experience in my school time and university. and now i'd like to share with you more about my job hunting experience after my graduation last year, you know, the global financial crisis broke out last year, which directly brought about a hard time for the graduators, it's really difficult for us to find a good in the economy cession period,i almost lost all my confidence and patience in that period, but as last, i did not give up, with the faith in mind, after experienced eight interview in twenty-five days, i finally got a job in Shanghai.i think i will cherish these experience forever.

In the end, i'd like to say that i always felt nervous when speaking in public, actually even i made a good preparation before the speech, i will lost all the things and got bland in my mind. but i just encourage myself to bravely speaking on the stage, as last, you will definitely succeed.

Thanks all.

From Alex's speech, we can give such a conclusion, never giving up when you want, and being brave to make a breakthrough. this is life, we will fight with all kinds of people and things.

C7 Research Your Topic (Michael)_The Unsung hero.

As the speec title implies, the unsung hero is a person, who made huge contribution to the society or did a big favor for others, but never got recognition, in Chinese, we have a special words to call this kind of people: WuMingYingXiong.

Michael provided three examples(If I remember it correctly).

1th example: One guy once lived in America, but then he transferred to China and Australia, his contribution is to invented one thing call "Source", maybe this is a very useful thing for the society.

2th example: As in the 1970s, the food industry was still developing, one guy wanted to invent one kind of sweet food, these kind of food tastes sweet but contains no fat, and 80 percent is not sugar. So that people can enjoy the delicious food and get no fat as well.

...

In the end, Michael makea informative conclusion for his speech, some tings, you are not looking for something's, you are looking for the source actually, after you do a lots of research, you can definitely find the source. And the result will satisfy you and meet your needs.

A3 Advanced Speaking(Amanda Song)_My new way of traveling in Japan

Amanda seems had a wonderful and memorable travel in Japan, the picture she wore a kimono in Japan looks really nice, it appears to me that this is the kind of girl I am chasing. hehe. just for run.

Firstly, Amanda said that there are several focus when you are planning for a travel: clothing, Food, living, transportation, but i choose living.

Through my observation, there are mainly three kinds things she presented in her speech.

1 Live in the hostel, not hotel

There are a bunches of benefits living in the hostel, the first one you can naturally think of is to save money, of course, the rent and expense living in a hostel in quite cheap compared to live in a hotel. The second point is you can meet all kinds of roommate from different countries and made friends with them if you want, the third point is since all of the roommates are strangers, you can told your own stories to them and share the experience.

2 Rent a apartment

There are many advertisement in the Tokyo, and sometime the apartment master will try to persuade to you live in their apartment using beautiful Ads, but do not be credulous, you need to check the apartment in person and then made the contract with the landlord. One important benefit living in a apartment is there is a refugee, in case of earthquake, you have a save place to protect yourself.

3 Ride in the countryside

How beautiful the countryside in Japan! You can experienced all kinds of scenery in the countryside, old style cabins, gardens, and the kind local people, oh, my Goa! if i have time and money, i surely will plan a travel in Japan. If i am lucky, maybe i will come across a beauty and fall in love with her, oh, maybe a day dream, guys.

Charles: Walking thousands of miles is equal even better than reading thousands of books, so if you have time and money, you can just travel all of the world, do not forget to deliver a speech in Toast Master.

Evaluation session:

We have a considerable strong evaluation team tonight, they are Jennifer, Sarah, and Steven, I am sure that i have learned lots of skill from them and will use what i have learned to my speech and my daily work.

1 Jennifer to Alex C1 Speech:

Jennifer is a lovely girl and also a experienced evaluator in Toast Master, this time, she give us a demo evaluation.

Shinning points: Alex choose a good topic and had a clear structure in his speech, he successfully introduced will about himself and also shared with us his job hunting experience.

Comments for improvement: As we all noticed that, Alex took a note in his hand but never used it. it's not a good habit when delivering a speech, the notes will distract the attention of audiences from your speech. when you felt nervous, you can take a deep breath before the speech. in addition, when you made a tiny mistake in your speech, you do not need to say sorry, you can use eyes contact with the audiences and use this short period time to rearrange your speech.

2 Sarah to Michael:

Sarah as a experienced evaluator also gave us a good sample.

The objectives of C7 speech is researching your topic, Michael did a very good job for this speech.

Shinning points: Michael absolutely have done lots of research for his C7 speech, and i'd like to say that the delivery is definitely remarkable. He used various of materials to enhance his port of view, including several vivid examples, and beautiful pictures, etc.

Comments for improvement: Since Michael's speech title is "The unsung hero", the audience may naturally think that the speaker will share us some stories about the unsung heroes, however, in Michael's speech, maybe the is a little gap between the speech and the title, if Michael can use some tape to make this gap short, it will be a indisputably wonderful speech.

3 Steven to Amanda:

Steven is our dear president of this club, and his evaluation is considerably informative and pertinent.

Shinning points: Amanda did a good job for her A3 speech, she have researched the audiences, what i talk will attract the audiences? with her vivid performance in her speech, she conduct a wonderful presentation for us about her travel in Japan. when traveling, one notable factors is to save expenditure, fortunately, Amanda showed us how to save money by living in the hostel, she also utilized vivid gestures in her speech, through my observation, he is also a little humorous.

Comments for improvements: In addition to the PPT, Maybe she can use some other gestures and explanation in her speech.

Functional session:

Every time when Julian was a evaluator in the meeting, i will carefully recorded his comments, he listed several point notable:

1 call back memory-->Recall memory

2 Exchange neighbor-->Exchange neighborhood

3 There is some space to improve-->There is some room to improve

4 Show the idea-->Demonstrate the ideas.

5 How time flies when we have fun.

If you have comments and advices, please do not hesitate to let me know, i will give your some mysterious gift for your comments.

Evaluation for Bruno’s C1 speech

1) Dear fellow members and most welcome guests, good evening! tonight, i feel it's really my honor to be the evaluator of Bruno's speech, C1 ice breaking speech. Before i evaluate Bruno's speech, I'd like to get some feedbacks from all of you. after Bruno's speech, if you have a better understanding about Bruno, please raise your hands.....oh, Congratulations, Bruno, you see all audience are voting for you, you have successfully sold yourself to the audience, well done. let's give a big applause to Bruno.

next, let's move to my evaluation part.

2) For C1 speech, the main purpose is to let others know yourself well, and the objects includes three parts: the opening, the body part, and the conclusion, and i'd like to say that Bruno have covered all these parts.

i: For the opening part, he told us his name, hometown, university ,etc, it's brief but quite informative.

ii: The body part, Bruno shard his experience ......, after this part, we know you better.

III: and the conclusion is also neat.

Through my observation, there are several shinning points in Bruno's speech.

1)The first shinning point: From the very beginning until the end, Bruno just stood on the stage very confidently, also with a sweet smile(very sweet smile), i noticed it. although this is his first speech in Toast Master, he performed quite relaxed and felt free to introduce him. you are a born speaker.

2) Second, Bruno made full use to the eyes contact, from the left side to the right side, and turn back, just like a radar, eyes contact can greatly let the audience concentrate on your speech.

ok, i also have some recommendation for Bruno to make improvement.

1)As we all might noticed that the tongue of your speech is low and deep, i suggest that you can use some vocal variety in your speech, this will make audience more attracted by your speech

2) i'd like to share with all of your a tip i thought out recently, how to overcome nervousness when speaking in public. why we feel nervous when deliver a speech? because some of the audiences we are not familiar with. one point: treat all of them your friends. even they are enemies. you can say this way to yourself: hey, enemy, i love you, i enjoy playing around with you, do not be nervous" and then, definitely, you can make a wonderful speech.

All in all, i love your speech and style, Bruno, that is my evaluation, thanks.

MSSH No.1 Toastmasters Club #128th Meeting Summary

Theme: I am busy

Last night, i truly believed that everyone has experienced a wonderful and memorable night. In the conference room on 16th in Metro Tower, we have almost forty people, some of the guests are from other Toast Master, some from STGC, and even the students from Shanghai International Studies University(Ruike and Kei, there are all my friends and I'd like to invite them to join this wonderful club). People in the room are all friendly and passionate, and the atmosphere in the room are also warm, let's cheers!

In modern and competitive society, especially in the big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, everyday people are just be busy with all kinds of things, fighting for the career and dreams. It seems that "I am busy" now gradually become a very popular words among people, especially the office workers.

In order to keep pace with latest time, as a result, Our dear Densery, who is a pretty and attractive girl, decided to choose this words as the theme of this meeting,

Below is the words from the toastmaster, Densery Wang:

I would like to set the theme as “I am busy”.“I am busy.” Is it a real fact or just an excuse for us? When we don’t want to do something, will you use this sentence to refuse? In my mind, in many times, we just don’t want to do something, rather than having no time to do it. If we really want to do something, we always have time to do it.

What is this sentence real meaning? What’s your background when you say it? Let’s discuss it. It should be interesting.

Ice Breaking game session

Louie, I really like to say that he is a funny guy full of imagination, he prepared sixty pictures to perform a game, maybe we can call it "Order the mysterious number". He divided all of the audiences into two parts, and the team which arrange all the pictures in a right in order with less time will be the winner. however, it's really a little difficult to finish this task. For example, there is a pictures shows three rocks, naturally, you can treat this picture as "Three", right? how will it be thirty? The key reason is in Chinese PinYing, "Three Rocks" can pronounce "ShanShi", which means "Thirty", very tricky, right? I really enjoy this creative game.

Table Topic session

This is a hot topic, so our handsome Elvis bravely got this task to be the Table Topic Master in this meeting, obviously, before this meeting, Elvis have made full and careful preparation, no wonder he can performed so confidently and relaxed on the stage, and as we all saw, the feedbacks from audience are almost positive and timely, Elvis did a wonderful job.

Q1: Yes, we are often busy in daily work, and even too busy to care ourselves. so could you please share your experience when you are extremely busy and how you overcome that period of time?

Jennifer: Jennifer is really the busiest person last night, since our SAA Sarah has some personal affairs to deal with, so Jennifer kindly and bravely took this role for the first time, besides, she was also the Grammarian of the meeting, so she just shared with us the feeling before and in this meeting. After taking the SAA role, she really felt how important and busy the SAA are, you need to prepare the meeting materials, welcoming guests, arranging the meeting well, warm the atmosphere, etc, ye, being a officer in Toast Master is not that easy as you might thought.

Q2: Maybe we all have such experience, sometimes you are very busy, buy you also feel confused, why i am so busy? it seems that i did not make any obvious improvement or achievement even if i am so busy, In Chinese, there is a special words to express this kind of situation "XiaManghu", so could you please kindly share with us your experience and how you handle it?

TianQiang Chen: Qiang is a "old" guest in our club, and i really appreciate his courage to speak in public on the stage.

he said "ye, i am busy, there are some many cases from my customer, and i need to handle them timely. In some circumstances, I really feel too busy to do other personal things, how to do with this? First, reassign your work, organize your work well, put their priority in order from most important to less important. Second, read more books, and then you can efficiently finish your work in time....".

Buddy, you really gave us a lesson.

Q3: In some circumstances, we maybe not interested in something or other’s requests, invitations. In these case, we just use white lie to politely refuse others, is this good or bad? have you ever used this kinds of trick to refuse others? share it with us, come on.

1)Sharp Xu:

Sharp is a strong man, and now he use his strong and magnetic voice to express his own opinion for this questions. Yes, i think in some circumstance you need to say white lie to others, for example, when your receive a call from the sell persons, and you don’t want to make conversation with them, you can just said "I am sorry, i will attend a meeting later", then you can shun down your cell phone, as a result, the seller will not bother again, this will save your time as well the seller's, right? so i think in some cases, you can use white lie without feeling guilt.

2)Lin: Lin share his own experience happen in his family, very informative and the story was very closed to himself, we all enjoyed it and gave his big applause. come on, Lin.

3)Andrew: Andrew is not only my colleagues but also my close friend, also a funny guy as i know, he said that sometimes it's indeed necessary to use while lie to refuse others, because this will not harm others. "For example, if your friends invite you to play basketball, if you do not want to go at that time, you can just say, 'hey, buddy, i am sorry, i'd like to go, but i really feel tried now, maybe we can play around next time'. yes, who knows you are really tired or just tell me a lie. This remind me that last time i call this guy to play basketball, he replied me he is tried, i did not trust his words, maybe he was just dating a beautiful girls, Andrew is a guy like this ^_^.

Q4: Suppose in one scenario, when you are busy with something, at that time, your boyfriend or girl friend called you and ask you back home, you said you are busy, but he/she did not believe it, and said you were dating with others, so in this case, how will handle it without hurting your mate?

Amanda: it seems that Amanda is quite experienced with kinds of conflicts, she shared with us a real story happen on herself, one day, she said she is busy for shopping, but his boyfriends did not believe that, how to do it? to prove this, she decided to buy a bag and then his boy reluctantly accepted this fact, how pity, buddy!

Q5: If someone give your three thousand RMB, and you will do nothing and just seat beside the wall for eight hours a day, will you accept this job?

oh, it's really a pity! since time is limited, this questions was aborted....

Prepared speech session:

Bruno C1 speech(Man to go):

Sally Jia C4 speech(How to say it):

Steven Xu A11(Building a road):

(I will update this session later if i am available based on my notes and memory)

Evaluator and feedback:

1)Jim Zhou to Bruno:

The main purpose is mainly introduce yourself and let the audience know your well, after Bruno's speech, all the audience understood his speech and himself, it proves that Bruno has successfully express his ideas and opinions, well done, funny guy.

Shinning points: Bruno is very confident when speaking in public, also very relaxed, it seems that he is a born speeder, in addition, this guy made full use of eyes contact with the audience, we were all attracted by his beautiful songs and personal story.

recommendations for improvement: since is a self-introduction, the speaker need to firstly say some personally information, such as your name, hometown and now your specialty, etc, and then your real experience in the past will be better to make audience to know you better.

2)Jean Kang to Sally: Jean is a advanced and experienced in our club, also a proficient evaluator, she can observed very carefully and gave the speaker many valuable and pragmatic advices, Sally really did a good job to make a C4 speech about a "man", all Sally did was related to that "man", eliminating jargon and unnecessary words efficiently, and you can saw that Sally was quite relaxed on the stage......

well done, Sally, and our experienced evaluator Jean.

3)Tiffany Avery to Steven

Tiffany made a informative evaluation towards our president Steven Xu 's A11 speech, oh, really wonderful evaluation, since i am so thirst and was drinking water ,so......

At the end of meeting, our TME Charles gave a conclusive general Evaluation, very wonderful:

"

1)First of all, i'd like to thank Densery for choosing a wonderful topic, “I am busy", since everyone has busy experience so that this is really a open topic and let all of our audience to open their mouth, and speak loundly to express their own experiences, ideas.

2Next, let me evaluate the meeting from the beginning to the end.

Jennifer, as a SAA also a grammarian in this meeting, she really the most busy person tonight, she bravely take the responsibility, you really did a good job, Jennifer. One suggestions i would like to give is that: at the beginning, you need to have a good idea how many guests participate our club, and manage the time, all in all, well done, Jennifer.

3)For the functional session, our Ar-counter, Michael, you are so active in our club, and often volunteer to deliver speech by making phone to me, but this time, we really do have a blank position to deliver a speech, so little pity! and i know, doing an Ar-counter well is just a piece of cake for you, right? and now, i have no comments for you, Michael, maybe, i have next time.

4)For our dear grammarian, Jennifer, oh, i mention you once again, because you are busy role in our club tonight, you pointed the good usage of the speakers. I also like to point one things for improvement, for the word "bustle", you'd better provide a more clear demo, so that the audience will understand the word better.

5)For the Timer, Amanda, you did a creative introduction of the time management role at the beginning.

6)For Table Topic session, Elvis did a good job as a master, there was one never happen ago in this session: three person volunteered the same question. this is a good point, also maybe not, because Table topic session is mainly used to practice your quick response and reaction, if more than one participators answer the questions, the latter will have some time to prepare the answer, so next time, one question, on answerer.

7)Sharp Xu: Sharp as a experienced evaluator, he really did a wonderful demo evaluation for us. He observed very carefully in the session, and figured out all the shinning points and improvement of the speakers, also, you picked up one participator, and make some comments on him, well done, Sharp.

8)For the prepared speakers, Bruno, Sally and Steven all achieved a successful delivery and got positive and warm feedbacks.

....".

Since "I am busy" today, so i do not have enough time to check the writing and grammar carefully, just for fun, guys, have a nice day.

In this afternoon, after i take some medicine and drunk a cup of hot water, in addition, i made a phone call to Mahoney, who is a native American, we talked a lot about the things happened recently, then, i watched some video took in the Toast Master, i feel a considerable better now. So i pledge to try my best to learn English well.

Why you feel nervous when speaking in public?

Do not feel nervous, treat others your friends, and express you inside feeling smoothly and confidently, Of course, nobody is a naturally born speaker, all of us need continual practice to make your more comfortable when delivering a speech in public. These days, I just practice English on the subway, facing all the strange passengers, and utilize your eyes contact with them, after days of practice like this, I am quite sure you will be never nervous when speaking English.

Another tip: just treat your audience elementary students.

The top five tasks recently for me

Learning English well, learning technologies, making more friends, make a girl friend, taking sport exercise.

Behind a able man there must be other able men,

Behind a able man there must be other able men, do to be proud and fidgety, calm down and work harder. there must be a distance after being compared.

How time flies! it have been several months since I  joined in the Microsoft NO1 Toast Master, i am so happy and lucky that i can be a member of this club full of person with high English level and advanced speech skills. All of them are very passionate humorous, and quite enthusiastic to help other. last time, i happened to see the video recorded when i delivered my first Table topic speech, oh, my God, it was really a shame. but it does matter, right? Everyone must experienced something for the first time, once you experienced it, regardless of what the result is, your experience itself is precious,  at least you can obtain wisdom form that experience.
Last night we hold the 128th meeting, and i delivered my C3 speech named "Expressing your gratitude", and the biggest acquisition i got is that you must be well prepared before you deliver a speech.  Although i have such kind of experience ago, but i really deeply experienced last night. No matter who the audience are and no matter their mood, the speaker himself must be in a good status, he must be a passionate. only this way, you can convince you audience and get positive and timely feedback.

Densery, who is open-minded girl with lots of speech experience, and Elvis, who just join this club at the same time with me. we talked a lot and exchanged our idea with other on the subway home. to be honest, i learned a lot from Densery, she told me that a successful speaker is not formed in one or two days,  Time, hard work and continual practice plus your strong confidence equals a success.

In addition, there is a Table Topic session in our club, which provide a stage for speaker to deliver extempore speech, which really requires lots of expression capability and fast response.
Anyway, if you find your shortcoming, you need to extract more time to over come it. buddies, do not afraid of losing face, trust me, face is nothing.
